The village was very serene during mid-October, perfect for a romantic escape. We stayed from Monday to Wednesday which ensured some privacy. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere and the breakfast was delicious. Even though most restaurants were closed, we had great food in nearby cafes and bars.
The gondola was under refurbishment and couldn't be used during our stay. We also had to walk a fair bit to get to the nearby attractions as the hotel was a little out of the way.

Spending Christmas break in the Alps was truly magical. The quaint village was picturesque, with snow-capped mountains surrounding us from all sides. The hotel offered a great continental breakfast with fresh pastries and hearty breads. The cozy rooms were perfect to come back to after a day of skiing. The ski lifts were conveniently located a short walk away from the hotel.
While the hotel was cozy, the small village was very quiet during the Christmas holidays, with most restaurants and shops closed. We wished we had known beforehand, as many options we had looked forward to trying were closed, and we ended up having to cook most meals at the hotel.
